Lotus is bad as a productivity software. This little app companion does need special configuration and special settings that are kept locked secret somewhere by someone... honestly. Stick to Exchange because this is worthless, save your time and effort.

Is exactly what I was looking for. A feature request would be to add the ability to save ID password and use "Touch ID"

This app should not be available to download since it never works. It's a piece of crap!!!!!

Please fix the app to work with the latest iOS.

It is so difficult to open 'secure' emails (i.e. payroll statements) with all of the extra steps. I constantly get locked out and have to WAIT for the daily reset at Noon to use Notes Traveler email. Only at noon and no option to call anyone at IBM help to reset. No option on 'Forgot Password'. Back to trusty Lenovo 420 to be productive. Same issue with iPhone. Argh...

I have been using Lotus products for over a decade and this is a bad one. After installing this I saw a pattern of calendar entries not syncing between my desktop, iPhone, and browser calendar. I just uninstalled it.

I receive an error message, "There is no notes ID file for your user on Traveler", each time I try to use the app to read encrypted email. I reported the issue using the help and support function but received no response yet.

This application is completely useless and broken with iOS 8. Cannot even add an account to start trying to use it.

Does not work.

Entering username and password, but doesn't accept a tap to sign in. Running on a 6 Plus on 8.0.2. Also, this app needs an update for new iPhones and iOS 8.

Does not work and no response from technical support.

Every time I open a new message I have to change my server to the correct setting... Why is this? I have saved these settings but for some reason they require updating each time. Any advice?

In true IBM form, this app disappoints from step 1. How can I add my account when the keyboard doesn't even come up to type?

Our organization supports this app to allow us access to our work email, calendar and contacts. Easy to set up and works all the time just like it is supposed to. Has never failed!

Works well for Email and calendaring/scheduling

Just works as expected. As simple as it should be.

Worked ok for a few weeks. Then some system trouble at work caused it to start trying to update continuously, and unsuccessfully. It ran a full battery dead by lunchtime & made my phone very hot. Hard to know if its lotus' incompetence or my employer's. Seems like it's a pretty tight race. Reinstall worked for a month or so but now its not working again. No choice really so I'll have to keep investing time in it.

Automatically configured itself the first time I clicked the link to launch the app from within an encrypted email in my iPhone native email. Works great and now I can read encrypted notes from within the app!

Already have Lotus Notes And Calendar on devices. This doesnt seem to do anything. Save your time and money.

Installed, then deleted this app. Not really sure what the point is.

This was the last piece of the puzzle in moving my email from my old BB to my iPhone. I can now read all email, even encrypted messages, on my iPhone. Buhbye Blackberry!! This was extremely simple to setup. Launch the app, then open mail.app and select your Lotus Notes account. Open an email with encrypted content. Instead of the body of the message is text explaining that you should open the message using Lotus Companion. Then touch the highlighted text in the message which will bring Lotus Companion to the foreground. At this point it auto-populates the Notes ID and server name, and asks you to type in your password. After entering my Single Sign On password (my corporate intranet password is different from my Notes ID password), the encrypted message then popped up within Companion. Due to security concerns, you can't do anything other than read the message, but that is all I ever do anyways. Note, if you're having trouble getting this to work (it won't populate your server and Notes ID, for example) then contact your Lotus Notes Sys Admin and have them add this function to your ID. Don't confuse this app with Sametime, that's an IM client. I'll add my voice to the chorus asking for ST on iPhone, but that's a rant for another review 

The iPad calendar and email integration is great, but the app would be even better if IBM would get up to speed with a sametime app/feature.

Works ok just a little sloooow

The Companion does not work if you have MobileIron's Mobile Device Manager implemented in your organization. It doesn't recognize the Companion's traffic as secure and blocks it. Need IBM and MobileIron to get on the same page!

App crashes all the time. Can't use for daily business needs.

With this app, I can read encrypted messages. Pretty basic stuff, it's helpful, but IBM can do so much more! It would be really nice if it also let me set my Out of Office. Converting "doc links" to web links would be a big bonus too.

Instructions say you must have traveler account configured and working on your apple device. Well...what does that mean and how the heck do u do that??

It's great to get my Notes mail on the iPad.

Desperate for a Sametime app... Is there one in the works?

Great start to get Notes mail on the iPhone. Need complete calendar integration beyond accept/decline and Sametime would take it to 5 stars.

App was working great till OS 4 update. Phone kept saying passcode was expired after every few seconds. Had to delete the lotus profile from my phone to fix this issue.

This is awesome!! My only issue is that once you read the encrypted mail, it doesn't go back to your inbox. From my understanding, it's more of a limitation of the iPhone OS. There was an IBMer that said something about buying? Traveler is free as long as you're a Lotus Notes user and are allowed to use it.. My guess is that you're not allowed.

Thank you IBM. This app solidified our decision to bring the iPhone into our enterprise environment. The set up was a breeze (if you follow the instructions) and app configuration is very simple. If you could add functionality that tells the user that they entered a wrong password when opening an encrypted email, it would be perfect. I still give it 5 stars though.

)K, you IBMer's out there...how and where do I get the Lotus Traveler client for iPhone? Without BUYING it from IBM? (I'm an IBMer)

Has anybody working with IBM been able to use this..I want to know what to enter in the Server and username fields...I gave the server that my email is on and my IBM email id and password, but getting the error 'could not connect.cant find host'...can somebody help..

Excellent application that is simple to use and works really well. However, two things could be improved: 1)ability to add calendar entries directly from the iPhone (why is this not possible?) 2)ability to scroll down when you have started responding to a message. For some reason this does not work. Other than that, it's really excellent. If the two issues above could be fixed, it would be perfect!
